I Know Who You Are

4/5
Holy moly !!! What did I just read !?! I will start off by saying this is not a book for everyone. It definitely had the shock value. If you are easily offended or have issues with certain relationships, and abuse this is not for you. I want to give fair warning on this.

Aimee the main character has had a terrible childhood first a father who resents her for killing her mother in childbirth then a mother who kidnapped her and threats her horribly. There are scenes of abuse that just made me want to throttle her. Aimee eventually grows up and becomes successful.

As the plot twist starts to reveal itself, I’m pretty sure I have it figured out but kept telling me no, no way. As it turns out I was right and wrong at the same time. Definitely had a shock value. Just think maybe she could have chose to change parts of the twist.

The story kept me interested and found it hard to put down. I liked “Sometimes I Lie” better and hope her next one is just as good as her first. I know there are a lot if mixed reviews, and understand their complaints. This one just, is not for everyone.

Points for Never-ending Story, Mary Poppins, and Speak and Spell
