This is one of those books that is not bad but not the greatest either.
I liked Maggie for the most part. Liked she was smart and spoke her mind. I did like the rest off the characters as well. The more you got to know them the more you opinions formed.
The action was not as a thriller but a subtle kind. The murder happens at the very beginning of the book. The murder towards the end. But you can figure it out before that. There were actually two major storylines going on, and both were resolved very well.
This is not a bad book. In fact I did like like it. Will I read more of the series ?? Most likely. Sometimes you need that mellow low key read.
