Very different then what I as expecting. I don’t know about others but it did put me through the emotional ringer. A lot of this book was predictable but still kept my interest and I still wanted to see what happens next.

Was a quick read and told from different viewpoints. Which kept it interesting. Loved the ending how clever Ellie was to let someone know where she was. Definitely recommend. I will be reading more of her books.

Stranger in the House

Wow, was not expecting this book to be as good as it was. Several twists and an ending that leaves you speechless.

I read her book the couple next door but this one is even better. Has the same two detectives as well. They are not a series as far as I know and that makes it better to me.

Definitely worth the read. Kept me guessing till the end.

The Perfect Mother

This was a pretty good book. No major twists or turns but a few surprises. It make you think about us as a society and how media can effect our view and opinions. At least me anyway I did like the nice surprise of Token. Did I guess who did it ? Actually no I did not.so that was good as well. It did keep me guessing if Winnie did it. Which is also a good thing. Overall I liked the book. Just wished it had more of twists and turns.

This one seemed long. It’s was all over the place with Laurie not having the same host. The ending I liked but was a bit predictable. I wanted to read all of this series one right after another but I think I’m gonna complete the series at a later date

A Dressed in White

This one was a little different then the others. Instead of a murder it’s a case of a missing bride. Liked that. Also instead of two story lines or bad guys there was only one. I have to say I am enjoying this series and you don’t have to read them in order. Liked it also takes place in Florida and the family is from NC. That was kinda fun. I do like how each one has it’s own feel and not the same as the others.

The Cinderella Murder

This one was just as good as the first one in the “Under Suspicion” series. I liked the extra thrill to it. Was a nice easy read with a little bite to it. I did not like they killed off one of the characters that I really liked. He was not a main characters as in the team but I still liked him. I guess it was a necessary evil. All the great characters from the last book carried on to this one. That was a good thing as well.

I liked this book as I usually like Mary Higgins Clark books. Nice easy read. Interesting that there were actually two bad guys. Think this added to the story. Kept me interested and had a good pace. I did figure out who did it or at least one of them. The characters were likable and asi read the series, I hope they stay that way.

This was a hard book to rate for me. I liked the characters, especially Eve. Liked the story. Liked how with each character they became stronger, especially when they were together. I cheered, I worried, and I laughed. I liked how everything was tied together and the last piece was placed. Loved that women were also in the spy network and men were so unsuspecting. Overall I liked the book.

The problem ? The book seemed long. It kept my attention and I liked it. Just seemed long.
